NYJC band malaysia trip :D
filled with so much epic-ness that's it's impossible to blog it all down here.
enjoyed myself alot and made a lot of new friends :D
check out the note i made or the videos or the photos that were uploaded
by almost everyone. HAHAHA.
reality hasnt really sunk in that i wont have to play peterloo, noah's ark,
dublin and american graf for quite some time.
gonna miss the bass even though it was screwed half the time. HAHAHA.

so near but yet so far.

the korean sundown festival is tomorrow
and guess what...i'm not going!
HAHAHAHA.
i dont know why i dont feel so so so sadddd.
ft island (+hongki), brown eyed girls and
~~t-max though i dont really care about them~~
are in singapore. like yeahhhh.

when i told ____ i wasnt going,
____'s reaction was "WHAT?! YOU'RE NOT GOING?
THAT'S A FIRST!" HAHAHA.

ohwells. $85 at fort canning park to see ft and beg?
i think i'll wait till the next round.
hopefully i can have the chance to go for

speaking of acts/concerts,
lee minho's coming to singapore for fan meeting
and tickets start at $98+ ?
even my broadway beng tickets didnt cost
that much! they really know how to cash in
on the big bucks huh.
but if it was you're beautiful's cast
~~other than uee~~ i'll consider going.
hehehehe.

MUSIC FRIDAY # 09!

since tomorrow is the sundown festival,
we've gotta give ft and beg some love right?
1st up.... ft island!

they can sing and they can play their own instruments!
now, that's something.
the first version is the song i hope that they sing live.
that's the thing i love about korean music shows.
they have to sing live. so you know if they suck or dont.
hahaha.

the 2nd version is the same song,
just that they remixed it to give it a soft rock feel.

nice right?
moving on...brown eyed girls!
the first one is abracadabra.
it became so popular that there were so many many
parodies and spin offs from the dance steps. hahaha.
the second is their recent comeback song sign.
totally different feel from abracadabra
but it's nice nonetheless. so enjoy!

band day camp, soa session and broadway beng!

i'm tired but happy.

had a chance to meet 3 jamaican athletes.
afasa powell, veronica campbell brown and dexter lee.
saw the twins too! haha.

heritage race on tuesday afternoon and i found out
i'm a perfect specimen for mosquitos to feed on D:

and i also found out that i've been a ''live specimen''
for my mom's growth and development classes.
you know, studying how kids (bones and muscles)
mature and grow up and develop?
hahaha. ohwells.

broadway beng on wednesday night and
it was awesome much.
sebastian tan as broadway beng is just hilarious.
thank goodness he spoke english and the
hokkien standard that he spoke was understandable.
ok, at least i could understand like 10%. hahaha.
i seriously cant understand hokkien.
percussion section and 0914 has been trying to educate me
on the hokkien language but i just phail at it. hahaha.
i think they gave up on me D:

the good thing was two seats away from me there was
an ang moh so his partner, who was seating next to me,
was translating it and i could hear the translation.
and there was a bit of chinese too.
even though my chinese pretty much suck too.

loved the final act where he sang broadway musical songs
and transited smoothly to chinese (getai) songs back and forth.
of course, the arrangement of the songs played a part too.
and then there was the spoof of super junior's sorry sorry.
it became a song on durians...well because this year's
performance was called "broadway beng jiak liu lian"
hahaha.

speaking of durians, i think i shall go and eat the durian puff now.

i'm exhausted.
but hey, it's
MUSIC FRIDAY #08!

this week, it's...
A.N.Jell !
ok, they're actually a faux (idol) group/band
for the drama you're beautiful.
yes, the one i'm going crazy over right currently.

they may not be a real group
but 2 out of the 3 guys are from actual bands.
there's hongki from ft island
and yong-hwa from c.n. blue.
but the other guy, jang geun-seok can actually sing
and released a few digital singles before i think.

their song is really really nice and
they. can. sing.
unlike some real life idol groups who
cant. sing.
i wont be surprised if they will ever release
an actual cd with the group name a.n.jell
outside the drama's ost.
the ost by the way sold about 20,00 albums
a week after it was released.
now, that's considered as an amazing feat
as it is not common for an album to sell
more than 10,000 units.
cool eh? :D

people are leaving for overseas.

serene left for taiwan on sunday,

anisha left on sunday too (not sure where),

mavis left for china on sunday,

daniella left for australia on sunday,

jasmine and judith are leaving for kyushu tonight,

grace's leaving for shanghai on saturday,

xinyu's leaving for sarawak (on saturday i think),

gloria's leaving on saturday too.

D: but it's ok.

many things happened this past week.

saturday.

my mom and i finally went to tampines 1.

but when you're shopping with my mom,

there's bound to be laughter.

1st: she almost drove off from home without me

and had to u-turn around.

2nd: we didnt know where tampines 1 was.

the car was in front of century square and we only spotted tampines 1

when we went past the interchange.

3rd: we saw the builidng but didnt know where the carpark was.

and we saw an entrance to a carpark with a security guard

so we asked the gurad and his reaction was like " ?!?!"

4th: we kinda got lost in the mall.

after that was a trip to the airport.

it's a small world after all. (:

p6 overnighter bbq last night.

food was good.

oh man, how i wish i was in the states right noww.

waking up early in the morning for shopping. (:

"beginning of the traditional christmas shopping season"

and many good buys beacuse there are usually "sales".

hehe.

opps. i forgot to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving

yesterday. celebrated it a week earlier i guess.

turkey was mmmm....good. (:

cant wait for another turkey meal on christmas!

it's only once or twice a year that i get to eat turkey.

i finally watched MARLEY AND ME.

the song has this really nice (drum) groove to it.

it's supposedly a basic, simple groove but

they made it really really nice.

i'm gonna learn the groove and use it for band!

i'm suppose to come up with three drum grooves

as a homework by mr r. anybody want to help me?
